My journey into event planning started in high school when I served as president of a campus club and organized the school talent shows. That experience sparked my interest, and I realized the joy of bringing people together through creativity and careful planning.
​
In college, I continued to develop that passion. I worked on campus and was a member of a student organization, and helped plan events. During my senior year, I decided to turn my love for event planning into a business.
​
Style and Sophistication Events is built on legacy and love. My mother played a pivotal role in this journey. She encouraged me to get my business license and supported my dreams every step of the way. She believed in education, giving back, and doing things with intention.
​
To honor her life and legacy, the Mary Ann Jackson Memorial Scholarship, named after my mother, was established to support students pursuing a college education. 5% of every event goes toward this fund—a meaningful way to continue her spirit of love, generosity, support, and commitment to education.
​
It’s our way of continuing her legacy and helping others build theirs.
